A message that mentions something real about the person reads like you wrote it to them. [Personalized Line] does that at scale: put it in a campaign email or text, and just before the message goes to each contact, the AI looks them up and writes one sentence for that spot.
- For an investor or builder: "Saw the duplex project you finished on Maple last spring — nice work."
- For a land owner: "Your parcel is only a few miles from Lake Livingston — beautiful part of the county."
It's on the Pro and Scale plans.
Add it to a message
- Open the Email or Texting page and pick the campaign in the message editor.
- Put the cursor where a personal sentence fits — usually right after the greeting.
- In the fill-in list, under AI · Pro & Scale, choose Personalized Line ✦, then save.
A message that starts Hi [First Name], [Personalized Line] I buy land in your county… reaches one owner as "Hi Maria, Lake Livingston has been beautiful this fall. I buy land in your county…".
- Backup words:
[Personalized Line|Hope your week is going well.]uses your words for anyone the AI can't write a good line for. Without backup words the sentence is simply left out, cleanly — a missing line never stops a message from sending. - Use it once per message, in the body. A subject line never gets the AI's sentence — only your backup words, if you gave any.
- It only works in campaign messages. Emails and texts you type by hand, and AI replies, never get one.
What it looks up
The ✦ line under the message opens Settings & preview. What to look up has three choices:
- Automatic (the default) — owners get something about their area; everyone else gets something from their web presence.
- Their area (near their property) — a lake, river, park, forest, trail, mountain, golf course, landmark or the nearest town, measured from the contact's property. Places like cemeteries, prisons, hospitals, schools and churches are never used.
- Their website & public profiles — their own website and the public pages search engines can see. The profile links on their contact card (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram…) are used as clues to find the right person; nothing behind a login is read.
What should the AI look for? lets you steer it — "mention a lake or park nearby", "focus on their recent projects". Click Save settings; changes apply to lines written from then on.
What it will never write
- Nothing about how it found the fact — no "I looked you up", no mention of AI or research.
- Nothing about personal life, family, health, money, legal trouble, taxes or a property's condition.
- For owners, nothing that assumes they live at the property.
- No links, email addresses or phone numbers.
If nothing good and certain turns up, there's no line — never a guess about the wrong person. A contact with only a name usually gets no line; add their website or a profile link and try again.
See real examples first
In Settings & preview, click Preview for 3 contacts. The AI writes the line now for three of the campaign's contacts and shows each one in its sentence, with what it was based on. These exact lines are the ones that send.
The Lines written tab lists every line for the campaign. Before a line has gone out you can click ↻ New line for a different one, or ✕ Don't use to send that contact the backup words (or the message without the line).
When the lines are written
Each line is written once, shortly before that contact's message sends (the platform looks a few hours ahead), and the same line is used if a send has to retry. A brand-new campaign's first personalized messages can wait a few minutes for their line. A message never waits more than about two hours — after that it goes out with the backup words, or without the line.
It uses your monthly AI allowance
Research counts toward the same monthly AI allowance as Oliver (the % meter on the Oliver page). Looking someone up on the web uses more than looking near a property. Settings & preview shows about what share of what's left this campaign's queued messages would use.
Personalized lines pause at 80% of the allowance, so a big campaign can't use up what Oliver and your other AI features need. Messages keep sending — with the backup words, or without the line — and lines start again on the 1st.
